1. What Craftaven is
Craftaven ("the platform") is a marketplace that connects people who need plumbing or electrical work in England ("clients") with tradespeople ("trades"). We facilitate introductions, quotes and reviews. We are not a party to any contract formed between a client and a trade, and we do not carry out the work.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, be 18+, and keep your password secure. One person per account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, post misleading content, or behave abusively.
3. For trades
You are responsible for holding the qualifications, registrations and insurance the law requires — including Gas Safe registration for gas work and Part P compliance for notifiable electrical work. "Verified" badges reflect checks made at a point in time and are not a guarantee. Quotes you send are offers you intend to honour.
4. For clients
Job posts must be genuine and lawful. You contract directly with the trade you hire; payment terms are agreed between you. Reviews must be honest and relate to a real completed job.
5. Liability
We provide the platform "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, safety, legality or outcome of any work arranged through the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
